What is the karma for, under my user name? How did I get one?

Its not really good for anything other than letting you know what others think of you, or just your standing at HoH in general. Sometimes you may get one from someone you have given good advice to, or some other good deed. They can also be taken away from you if you decide to be a jerk, or make stupid or misleading statements. I think I smacked ya one for your statement about saw collecting right after you joined. Something like 'just because its big, loud and geardrive' or something like that. To me, that is what a saw collector/Homelite fanatic is all about, so I gave you one to get you started. You will at times see new members with one or two posts that have one or two Karma's already. How this gets done is beyond me. That kind of ruins it for the members that earned theirs the hard way.

Thanks for the clarification 'Zip, and for the Karma! "Edited to add"............I thought, maybe, If I received a "certain number" of Karma(s), I would get a free saw from Mr. BillG!!??
