I saw a a Super EZ Auto on Cincinnati craigslist two months ago for 60 dollars, it was a 1973 red and white saw, and in beautiful condition. I told the seller I would send him 100 dollars if he would mall it to me and he agreed. I should never have sent him the money. Right after we made the agreement he removed the pictures and ad, less than 15 minutes after. When I asked for more pictures he said he didn't have any (should have insisted on pictures from phone, my mistake). A month later no saw and for the week no text messages. I called the local county sheriff and had them go over and do a "welfare check" to see if he was okay and actually lives at the address. The Sheriff reports back to me and says the guy is fine. An hour later he texts me and says he just got his phone turned back on. He sends me a photo on the phone the next day of the tracking number. I got the saw today, maybe it's the same saw, but the pictures had be from years earlier when he first got the saw. Half the paint missing, the clutch cover was eaten up on the rear so 1/4 was missing in the back, the sprocket is trashed, only one half of one guide plate, top handle is very loose?, but worst of all there is a crack in the case right at the bar adjustment screw. Good Parts saw for 100.00. You pays your money, you takes your chances. I know most people aren't like this that's why I offer to send people money to have them mail a saw to me. I can salvage the recoil starter, bar and chain and maybe a few parts. Very odd mosel number. It says model number CG-S-EZ, serial number 23130143. Any idea what the CG stands for?
