I picked up some old saws at a guys place in northern MN. He had a Homelite 2 man saw power head - no bar assembly - sitting in his shop. It was labeled as model 24X1. Anyone have any background on 2 man Homelites The powerhead had two handle bars and it must have a float carburetor. The place where the bar mounted rotated 90 deg. It is not in the greatest shape, looks like it came out of a dump - all full of dirt

Well, I found the answer to my question. The saw is a Lombard but Lombard used Homelite engines for awhile.

That is a saw I have been serching for. It has been a long search with no real luck. That is a good find.

Bill, Maybe my original post wasn't clear. I was there to pick up a couple of other saws not the Lombard. Are you interested in the Lombard? I'm not sure what his plans are for this saw. PM me.
