I searched a bit at Mr acres most awesome site. they list the bar mount by reference number.
Ref 14 looks just like my 1050 mount. I have a long ice cutting bar from the 1050 on a 750 right now and it appears all good.
I have had some trouble fitting this bar on a c7 I had to open up oil holes and relocate the chain tightener hole to fit that saw
I want a shorter or normal bar for wood cutting on a newly revieved 750 project.
PT-24381-G5 is a ref 14 bar that is listed as fitting a 360.UT10538 Would that bar fit a 1050, 750,350 ect......
I can make a chain. I can change a roller tip. but I don't like removing material from the bar clamp area.
I gues the question could have been shorter.
Will a 360 bar fit a 750? Did a 360 have a .404 tip?
I think I just answered my question. save a buck on the bar and spend two on the tip.

Mike Yep, a 360 bar will fit a 750 and visa-versa, and even though its possible, I don't think I've ever seen a 360 using .404, so I think you're right and you answered your own question! Dan

It will be easier if you keep the bar mounting separate from the sprocket tip. If the bar mount is correct for your saw, then you have to make sure the chain, the chain sprocket, and the bar sprocket all match. I don't know if Homelite ever had a factory sprocket in .404 for the 360 but if you wanted to use .404 all you need is an Oregon rim and hub in the pitch you want.

I think I am going to try and source a .375 rim for a 750.
That should be fun.

Well the bar from the 1050 should not be on a 750 but will fot a C-series with no problem. Bill

Is it not like the other rims? Or do you mean the hub? Clutch drum, sprocket. clutch drum, hub, rim, The chain runs on the sprocket or the hub correct. I was hoping to drive a 3/8 chain with a 750, don't i just need a rim? (I am thinking rim like car rim) mike

Time? never enough time.
I need to sit down and cypher out a recipe for different combinations. then write them down. I gave up trying to buy the homelite 360/750 bar on evil pay, it went for more than a cheaper, new model from baileys.
I am set in the long bar dept. I have both .375 and .404 chain running on homelite bars. The C-7's can go both ways with "spur drive style clutch drum" swaps.
The 7-5-0 seems cheaper (Just buy rims) except the clutch is upside down. Or maybe outside in?? I expect a left hand thread to knock the clutch off.
Merry Christmas.
