Well I have done pretty good so far for never having worked on saws much but now I have a question. The fuel line is 2 piece, once from the carb to a barb on the outside of the tank and another on the inside of the tank. The barb on the outside looks to be threaded or screwed into the tank. Question is, can I get to the line to replace it in the tank without separating the tank? I tried most of the screws on the tank and all broke loose pretty easy but I barely turned them and didn't turn them all but anyway. Would the barb on the outside unscrew and give access to the barb on the inside for that line?

Yes, if you remove the tank. There's 2 bolts on the side near the front of the starter, and 2 facing from the front in the area near where the bumper spike would attach. If you have a spike, it's good to remove it so bolt protruding on the side with the nut doesn't block. Once the 4 bolts are loose, the fuel line from the carb needs to slide through the opening in the filter housing. The fitting has a 5/16 (I think but may be 3/8.... not 100% sure) nut surface. I use a thin wall deep well socket on it. May get it with a wrench, but be careful for it not to slip, and you don't have alot of room there with a wrench. Unscrew and the inner line will pull out with it. If the filter is still attached, it'll need to be removed through the fuel filler hole so you can draw the line out.
