I guess that the only thing unusual that I can see on it is the rubber grip on the rear handle. I've never seen one on an XL-1 up here.

Actually looks like a Super Mini SL I picked one of those up at an auction and sent to a collector friend in the US. They are a very unusual looking saw..

Think I remember someone mentioning a Duramark branded EZ type, but don't remember seeing one before. Something new everyday!

On those Duramark saws that are black, I wonder if they were painted black originally from the factory or just re painted over the original color?

On those Duramark saws that are black, I wonder if they were painted black originally from the factory or just re painted over the original color? Look at the pictures real close, I thought I saw (I used my magnifying glass) bare metal on a scratch or two and no red in the last picture. Its on the drive case cover edge and a couple of wear spots on the base. It wouldn't make sense to have to repaint
