My points and/or condenser are bad, pretty cheap to replace, will the rotor work okay with two broken fins or should I get another Phelon rotor and go electronic? Thanks

Thanks I would not go electronic on that saw. Original Wico electronic ignitions (blue coils of death) were known to fail. The brand new replacements made by standard magneto supposedly corrected the originals short comings (at least that's what they told me when I called them). I don't have enough run time on mine to make judgement. (it was used to replace a original Wico electronic ignition). points, set up correctly will give many years of service. On the broken fins, are they 180 apart or something else?

I would be very concerned about that rotor. If it is the last part that keeps the saw from running, I might be inclined to hang on to it till I found a replacement.
