I'm no expert but it supports my theory on Terry saws where the T80 is slightly different from the rest of the number 00185 making it a saw made in 1980 number 185 made that year.nice saw by the way. Al

Al It's possible. It might depend on where the saw was originally sold. It's also possible Terry saws originally sold in Canada decode differently than Terry saws sold in the USA but know one knows for sure. Another mystery.....

If it helps I purchased the saw from Ontario Canada. Probably was sold there originally.
