For one thing her saw shop sold a TON of XL-123's around 80, but interestingly enough 9 were made on the same day as mine. Mine is 5017T182, XL-123 saws sold from her store include, 5017T168, 5017T165, 5017T108, 5017T103, 5017T093, 5017T089, 5017T088, 5017T087, and 5017T085

That's possible since the fuel cap is black,I'm just not sure on what system they used back then and my 5021T461 certainly looks 1975.

I found two other John Deere 350CS (SXLAO) saws built on the same day as mine. They were listed on the web and for a long time I thought that might have been the only day they were built. Then someone posted one not on the same day and my idea was shattered. Those 3 JD SXLAO's were scattered all over the country.
