I used a mini pry bar on top of a large flat blade screwdriver and worked it around, took about 10 revolutions of prying, but BANG, it came loose. I see the condenser and surmise the points are inside the little box like the old under flywheel points on the Tecumseh engines?

Nice, its about time, eh? I forgot to mention leaving a nut loose on the shaft, to catch the wheel when it came loose. You probably already knew that.
