I have this Super EZ Auto tht I bought from eBay, seller said he was sure it was a runner, but no guarantees. No problem, it was less than 50 bucks and looked nice. I started work on it and forgot where I was and what I was doing (this happened actually three times), any-hoo I did get to it today and using Leon's YouTube video from memory I first repaired the starter rope. Rope was good, but the person that installed it had it set for a 6 inch pull. I'm not sure how that happened, but anyway that's fixed. So I put some mix gas in the carb cause I don't know whats in the tank and pull the rope 5-6 times and nothing. I was sure I had spark on this one (replaced 3 coil/modules already in other SEZAO's, UGH), nope no spark, dead. I pull the cover bac off and this one is different has a wire coming from under the flywheel so I guess it older. I don't think the blue modules I've been buying will fir this. Any help into what coil/module to buy would be appreciated. BTW, I've been using my old cores because the cores that come with the blue coils don't fit my SEZAO's. The blue coil in the last picture is a dead soldier, just for reference Thanks, Alain

If it has a wire going under the rotor it has points. To use a module probably would have to use the module rotor also.

If it doesn't have spark is this the problem? I see used ones, and one OEM new one, on ebay from 24.00-100.00 It says its a Homelite A-65289 coil

If you are referring to the points type it's probably the condenser or points. You might try disconnecting the stop switch wire first. Then pull it over to check spark. Be sure the wire end to the switch is not touching anything. If no spark pull flywheel and inspect the points. Fairly rare for a points coil to fail.
