I picked up a VI Super Mini and could use some help with the build date. It's a Terry built saw. The lot number is T7216 and UT number is 104294. Thanks, Charles.

Probably 1977. Ones with those types of numbers there is still some mystery. On the UT number only the first 5 digits are the UT number. The only used 6 digit UT numbers in the late 1970’s.

I thought the T7 indicate it was a 1977 Terry built saw, please post pictures as I think I have a VI Super Mini SL which was a Terry built saw, but the decals say Super Mini SL (T81720534 UT10546, however when I see pictures of the Super Mini SL it doesn't look like mine. are you sure there aren't more numbers in the T serial number?

The number on my saw with the T in it is referred to as the lot number according to the tag. Also my saw has a totally different A.V. system than yours.
