I am missing part of the tin on the rear of one of my XL-850's, its the part that covers the plug. It looks like it slides into the rear cylinder cover tin. Any idea if one of these is available? Thanks

I can't find any indication that this part is removable in any of my IPL's up through the XL-925. It appears to be a cast part of the throttle handle itself. I can't get to all of my saws as they are stored in a loft in the attic, but I have "end pics" of most of my saws in this series. It looks like my XL-700 is missing the same part, but for all the rest it is cast into the handle itself. I could not find a part number difference in any of my XL-700 IPL's, so now I am stumped. The throttle handle went from A-63683 to A-65881 to A-68025, but I can find no mention of that cover being separate. Very weird! In all honesty, the shape looks like the shield from a Super XL might fit okay: www.ebay.com/itm/Homelite-Super-XL-Chainsaw-Spark-Plug-Shield-NOS-Part-93209-/232507674464?epid=1324598910&hash=item3622898f60:g:kKsAAOSwuAVWz7NRSuper XL-925 SL (c) by Leon Crouch, on Flickr IMG_5913 by Leon Crouch, on Flickr Homelite VI-955 Chainsaw (g) by Leon Crouch, on Flickr Homelite XL-700 Chainsaw (c) by Leon Crouch, on Flickr Homelite XL-800 (c) by Leon Crouch, on Flickr Homelite XL-850 (c) by Leon Crouch, on Flickr Homelite XL-870 Chainsaw (k) by Leon Crouch, on Flickr Homelite XL-903 (k) by Leon Crouch, on Flickr Homelite XL-923 Chainsaw (d) by Leon Crouch, on Flickr

Thanks, I have the Super XL spark plug shield on eBay saved in my watch list. Its hard to see, but it has what appears to be two holes or two indentions. I looked at several of my saws, the Super XL Auto, XL-12, and XL Auto appear to be riveted on while my XL-903, 901, 800, and 850 saws seem to be cemented on, like what might have been used on the cases. I believe I can use the eBay part and JB weld it on
