Would you happen to have a bar and chain for a Super XL-925 UT 10415, S/N T83520680? I would like at least 20" power tip, maybe 22" or 24" if I can swing it. Do you also have a hard nose bar and chain? Thanks

They have a brand new 24" D196 bar and chain set for ~$60 From my experience from the set: Bar has the correct D196 mount, is NON-LAMINATED and has replaceable sprocket nose. Chain is 3/8"--.050" , full chisel, standard profile helluva deal if you ask me!

Frawleys chainsaw store has the Oregon Power Match bar and chain for 99.00 free shipping, 19.00 more. I think I may go that route. BTW, they have both the 196 and 095 mount, this bar will only be on a 900 series saw, not sure I want the 196 universal mount, any opinions?

I don't personally have a problem with the universal mount. I think that as long as the oiler works properly and the bar is held solidly, there should be no problem. I have seen more trouble with people tightening the bar on a lump or two of sawdust than due to a universal mount. I have not used a universal mount in anything that could be called serious saw work.

Thanks, they are the same price, but I really don't think I would put a 24" bar on anything smaller than a 65-70 cc saw, So no real need for universal mount

I've used the universal mount without any trouble at all. As Dan said, as long as the oil holes line up properly, you'll be good.

After looking at at the 196 mount on the Oregon bar the picture shows the adjustment pin holes as round whereas the holes on the little red barn bar and chain are the correct Homelite rectangle shape, I wonder if its just a stock photo or the 196 mount has round holes and the Homelite bar adjuster pin fits inside f that's the case I might want the 095 mount or the little red barn bar and chain
