OK ....so I'm totally getting hooked on saw restorations...this ought to add up quickly$$$.!! does anyone make a restoration color for the old Homelite reds, greens and blues? or is it a matter of having the body shop match it as best they can? I have a brother that works for a local auto body supply place...he's a paint tech...so he might be able to help me out....but figured since I was online ,I'd ask anyhow

Good evening, I haven't started restoring just yet (still collecting!), however, I would think that the best way to get a good match would be to take a part from a saw and look on the inside surface....the side that has not seen sunlight and have NAPA Auto Parts scan it and do a color match....should be pretty darn close...let us know what you find out! yeah I was thinking that it would be easiest to have it scanned and matched...its got to be pretty close...close enough for me...its not like I'm sending these things thru Barret-Jackson.
