Wanted to share this. I was looking for a 350 or 360 for the collection and came across this. Runs great. Somewhat rare I guess. Charles.

I really didn't know what it was as I had never seen one before. After further searches on it and not finding much I then decided to buy it. The Homelite 35SL is the Canadian version of the Homelite 360. I believe most parts interchange but there are differences. I don't have a IPL on that one.

I do know the ignition is the same as the 330. Has a piece of metal bolted where the transformer would mount on a 360. Don't know about the rotor. I've read that the air is drawn in differently than the 360.

At some point in the early 90's, I remember reading a service bulletin that indicated the 360 was being discontinued, but sold as a 35SL. This later version looks identical to the 360, other than the 330 coil, a cylinder gasket and the standard chain brake. Forgot about that one.
