I've got 7/16" Pitch X .063" Guage Chain available by the drive link. I know the cost is up there, but I paid dearly for this roll a number of months back. There's a number of Homelite saws from the 50's that used this chain like the 7-19C, 9-23, 500, 700D, 900D, EZ, EZ-6 to name a few. If you have an original Homelite bar, I have a chart that lists the drive link count by bar size.

You would think a company like Oregon, would make some of these vintage sizes, even if in small quantities, for the restoration community. I know, I know, it's all about the mighty $$$.

Any 1/2" Pitch X .063" Gauge Chain? Not yet...I've been outbid on every roll that has come up for sale on Ebay. Sooner or later though, I hope to offer some for sale.

Cost prohibitive is what that comes out to! That would make a sale price around $2 per drive link...somewhere close to extortion value!

"Chipper" chain; is that just another name for semi-chisel? Because it certainly isn't full-chisel.

Chipper is the old style of rounded tooth, semi-chisel is square-er, full-chisel or just chisel is very square with a pronounced point on the leading part of the cutting edge. I believe chipper is the original design on the Oregon patent on saw chain. Scratcher is what preceded it if I am not mistaken. That chain made sawdust, chipper and later makes chips. Anyone who has more or corrections please straighten me out on this as I am a little tentative here. more information: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saw_chain
