Question: Can The oil to the bar and chain on a Homelite super 1050 be adjusted?

Nope, it's fixed rate. Are you getting too little or too much? I believe a high lift, extra flow oil pump was available back in the day.

You may have the high volume pump..it was meant for bars in the 36"-60" range.

Despite the wasted oil, I suppose it's better to have to much than to little; than be left with a burnt up bar and chain. I don't know the exact make up of a 1050, but is there a in-tank rubber supply line that you could insert a small restrictor in? Sort of like the brass one on a XL2. Steve
