Picked up an old Homelite 35A115-1 generator today. 115 cc two stroke and and boy is it a heavy booger.

Prolly don't weigh more than that saw there! :{)
That's some interesting stuff there, how about a wider shot so we can see more of it?

I missed the log tongs before! I would have a bunch of that stuff if I had the room to store it all. I pass on good things for that reason, its likely better that I don't have more room. The suburbs don't produce a lot of the good stuff but it does show up now and then. The old stuff really has so much more character than the new stuff.
Can you imagine what a modern plastic saw with 180 cc's and a modern chain would be like though? A guy would have to be ready to make wood if he was planning on starting it up.
Thanks for posting.

It would be interesting. Here's a pic of the chips from my Mall 7 with 3/4 " pitch chain. That's a quarter for size comparison.

Sounds very tempting Steve but unfortunately freight would be a killer. This thing is close to 100 lbs. :-0 My 4-stroke Homelite generator is like a feather compared to this two-stroke one.
