Homelite 360 died when cutting a large tree trunk at the bottom under heavy load. Won't re-start. Tried gas/starting fluid down the carb throat and there was no hint of firing. Pulled the coil, jumped the terminals and the plug sparked. Swapped a known good coil, new plug, still no luck. Cold compression read 110. Any ideas?
Had the exact same problem on a DM50 cutoff saw and never did get it started again.

It might be that the flywheel key sheared. Not very common but you might check. Just a guess.

Look at the piston/cyl. to see if they're scored.
