This is a saw I found on CL that was not running and had lots of hours. The usual stuff brought it back to life. 32 inch McCulloch bar with 110DL chain. Check the photo above for strangeness, a genuine ATTABOY to the first one who spots it. Hint below: Brand new chain, came in Oregon box, off eBay of course, 3 splices that are obvious!! Oh well, it was a good price and it cuts fine. This is what the combination was tested on over the weekend. That is a 14" 2x2 on the Maple stump. The tree was leaning like the one in the picture below, over my shed. Some neighbors and friends helped me move the shed before we felled the tree. The tree below is next, no shed, but too much wood for one weekend. Ran great, cut fine except the clutch seemed to slip a bit too easily. Pulled it apart today and found only 3 shoes in the 6 shoe clutch. Well, there were a lot of other parts swapped out for the wrong thing, screws, washers and the like. I replaced the missing shoes and added a new sprocket rim, put on the 20 inch bar. Good fun, might have to paint it some time. Forgot, the muffler came loose in the middle of all that cutting and one screw with a strap/washer fell out unseen into the sawdust, in an unknown location. I searched for about 10 minutes with a magnet and found it!! Never give up!

Dang, is that (4) XL-500's now?? Judging by the pile of firewood, she's running just fine!

No, this is one of the three. It has been sitting for a while. I got it running a while back with no tree to cut. I wanted to save some of the wood as lumber but had no way to move it in big logs. Just as well, I don't have a mill and I don't need more projects. :{)
