Hi Guys. I'm new to he Forum. I know old chain saw chains are hard to come by. I have a Homelite Wiz that my Dad bought new somewhere around 1960 when I was a teen. I grew up using it and it still runs good but the chain is wore out. I've used it sparingly on just larger logs but it's at the end and I'm wondering if anyone knows where I could find, even a used chain or two. It must be the old 1/2 pitch chain. On the side of each tooth there is a 40 and the chain has 58 drivers. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help!

Welcome to the forum! Cool story for a cool old saw...unfortunately 1/2" pitch chain is pretty hard to come by these days. The best option is to keep and eye on Ebay and your local Craigslist. Many times you can score an old saw for the bar & chain; garage & barn sales can be a good place to find these old saws. Good luck!

Will sell any length or all. chainsawlady

I have a Super Wiz. Has no numbers. No 55,66,or 80. Just Super Wiz. Any idea of the production of this model? Was it the very first of the Super Wiz models?
