That's a tough call. For a while this family of saws was drawing a pretty good price on Ebay, but I haven't seen anything for a while. With this one being frozen and the damage to the upper engine shroud, I think that will limit the interest to super serious enthusiasts. If you want to spend the time to put it on Ebay, I'm guessing it would go for around $80-120. If you want to sell locally on Craigslist, I'd start it out high at $150 and see if anyone bites. I think the more realistic number on a local sale is $50-$75. If I saw it here in Oregon close to me, I'd probably pay $75. Just my opinion though....I hope others chime in with some thoughts.

Sounds about right to me too.

Yep. There's always a chance that someone not knowledgable about saws just wants a wall hanger for his man cave and this may fit the bill with the price being secondary.

I put a 990G on E-bay for a friend of mine and got over $500 for it! It had damage to the handle, but the paint was nearly perfect. If you want top dollar for this saw you need to clean it up a little. It could have been the perfect storm moment for me, but another vote for E-bay. JMO R&R

Hey guys, thanks for the feedback and the help! I'll probably hang onto it until I have a chance to clean it up a little bit. I'd love to get it running but so far work, family, and chores have prevented that from happening haha. Honestly, I would prefer that it went to someone that appreciates these older saws and would fix it up or use it for parts to fix another saw.
riseandrun, how do you go about shipping something this big and heavy?!?! I'm guessing it had to be expensive!

how do you go about shipping something this big and heavy?!?! I'm guessing it had to be expensive! I've shipped some big old saws via USPS "parcel post" for $35-$45. Greyhound is an even better option if both parties are near one of their bus stations.

Greyhound is a great option.

Parcel Post. Sorry I missed this earlier. Right about where Brian VT mentioned. The shipping price is on the same page as the listing so the buyer goes into it knowing what he's going to pay. R&R
