I bought this saw as a parts saw and want to get it running. I pulled the muffler and found the piston scored so I'm going to rebuild the saw. While I have it apart I thought I'd paint it. Are there any sources left for homelite red and black paint left? Thanks.

Hi Joe, I tried doing a search for homelite orange on this site but ran out of time before work. I know I've seen it listed on here before. Not original but very close. When you find it LMK. :-) I have a few I might try and paint someday. Black should be no problem, right? HTH R&R

I used Duplicolor DE1607 Chevrolet Orange-Red engine enamel on my Super 2100. The pic shows a factory painted compression release clip compared to the Duplicolor-painted body. Attachments:
