I just finished totally disassembling, cleaning, and reassembling an old Zip that was recently given to me. Unfortunately, it doesn't have spark. The points are clean and gapped at .015" as marked. Should I try a new condensor or what? Also, I'm going to need a few parts. Let me know if you can help me out with any of these. 1. Carb base/inlet 2. Screen just under the carb base 3. Screw for the carb base 5. 4 screws that bolt the recoil shroud to the saw 6. 4 screws that bolt the recoil to the recoil mount 7. Condensor/Ignition 8. 3 clutch shoes 9. Both clutch springs It's missing a lot of paint. But everything is clean inside and out and in excellent condition. Here's the ignition in question. And the clutch that needs a few parts.

Brad, First off, I apologize for calling you Brian in a previous post. I don't know what I was thinking. I don't know of any way to test the condenser, fortunately there not very expensive. I think that you were asking on AS how to test the coil. Measure between the positive and the negative wires(primary winding), you should get a low reading 4-9 ohm. then measure from the high tension tower (secondary winding) to either ground or the primary side windings (I can't remember which one or both), but what your looking for is a high (over 20k) or even infinite resistance value. CSW
Someone correct my post with the right procedure if I'm wrong and/or clarify the secondary winding part. thanks
