I've come across quite a problem with old, dry and rotted lines in my XL and Super 2. Can I use modern Tygon line as a replacement? I know NOS lines are getting harder to find and are often dry rotted, it would be nice to have a modern replacement that I will be able to get for awhile.

Thanks. The other neat part about Tygon is you can see if anything is in it or where a blockage is at. I think a few feet of each size should do. How does it slide over end nipples and stuff, and can it keep a duckbill valve in place?

I've had some trouble with Excelon line shrinking and making big trouble in areas where there is no grommet (the fuel line seals the opening). Maybe Tygon is better. Where Homelite line is called for, I use that, as it is available OEM from Homelite and fairly cheap.
