Hey Gurus, I have a tech question about the carb on the C9 that I am restoring. The C9 model calls for a HL141 Tillotson carb. Mine has a HL273 carb on it that somebody must have changed out in the past. Does anybody know if this is too much carburetion for my 85.5 CC saw. I've noticed that this particular carb is found on some 100 CC models. If so, can I adjust it to be compatible? If not, does anybody have a HL141 laying around for sale? Thanks in advance. Joe

That's good to know. I thought that it may be along the lines of putting a Holley 750 cfm double pumper on a Slant Six.

That's good to know. I thought that it may be along the lines of putting a Holley 750 cfm double pumper on a Slant Six. Back when I was racing cars the Limited Late Models ran 500cfm 2bbl. The open 4cyl Fords ran the same 500cfm carb. I belive the open Late Models ran the smaller 4bbl. Bill
