This guy makes a replacement that he claims is good, you pays your nickel and you takes your chances I guess. www.ebay.com/itm/HOMELITE-CHAINSAW-PRIMER-FUEL-CAP-A01372A-FITS-XL-2-SUPER-2-180-190-192-200-/141048936548?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item20d72bf864Looks like the cap you need fits all of the XL, Super2, etc. saws that have the primer on the cap, they should be sitting around on dead saws. You might find a whole saw for the price of one of these caps. You might also get a plain cap, drill two holes in it for fuel lines and stick on any replacement primer bulb. It would not have to be glued directly to the cap, it could just hang loose. Or, you could just pull more on the rope and forgo the primer. The line in the tank to to the missing primer would have to be plugged I would guess, or the carb would suck air through the line. Good Luck, Dan

I myself got a replacement cap from sawzilla, my question is there is a barb on the opposite side of primer bulb that I’m not sure where a hose is supposed to go from it I’m assuming carb but not sure as I just got this saw. I cannot even find a serial number anywhere either for a manual it just says super 2 on side where model and serial would be just has a tag saying homelite division of textron inc.. it has an oiler adjustment on the right side of saw as well any help is greatly appreciated.
