C51 running great but cannot get the oiler to work. Have replaced O ring in the plunger but is there a procedure to bleed them?

Most have springs and check-balls/valves to keep air out of the line. Make sure they are not stuck. I have found that most gunk in the oiler lines and valves can be cleaned by running a quantity of Marvel Mystery oil thru the system. It's mainly a mixture of brake fluid and kerosene.good luck
