Hello and thanks for allowing me into your forum.
I was bucking up some logs for firewood and stopped to sharpen the chain. I refuelled gas and oil and she started 1st pull.
However when I attempted to rev her up to begin cutting again it would bog out and stall.
No adjustment of High speed idle has had any effect.
Fuel line appears fine. Air filter is clean. Carb not gummed up.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.....

Hmmmm, Could not really find any info on a XL 430 saw. Found 450 and XL400. If the saw has points and cond. ignition. A condenser failing or dirty, pitted out of adjustment pionts could cause it to cut out and not come up to speed. A failing ignition coil could also. Always try a new plug first. Just some ideas Tom Welcome to the forum lostinthewoods
