Brought this home the other day. Another local find. Serial #3078xxxx. It's rough. Piston is trash, cylinder is questionable, no handlebar, broken handle bar bracket, missing drive case cover. But, it has good spark, came with a useable bar, and the price was right. It'll go on the shelf for now, but should be running by summer. (Another fuzzy picture. Definitely need to use something to steady my phone camera.)

Notice this saw does not have manual oiling installed. In the early '70s manual oiling was a dealer installed option on the SXL.

I like that shallow pan you have the saw in. Where would one aquire such a pan? Nothing like keping bar oil from leaking all over the bench. Seems like every brand leaks a little, some more than others.

The shallow pan? It's "boot tray". Made to put on the floor for your muddy, wet shoes. $5 at Walmart.
