New member and thought I would share pictures of some of the Homelites I have here. 750 that is on the table for a rebuild now Super 1050 XP1020 waiting on it's new top end 8800 that I sold to a member on another forum 550 that is running and cutting XL-12 that is running and cutting Super EZ Auto that needs fuel system work XL800 that is beyond help 500 that has compression 707D that is locked

Good to know something I have said was actually useful information. I hope to have a second 750 here in the next few weeks, the deal is already worked out and the saw is "on hold" for me.

Nice collection.. That second 750 does have good metal. What will you do with the XL-800?

The XL-800 is a parts saw because the fuel tank is broken at the seem. Unlike the 900 series that is bolted together the 800 series was bonded. I have stripped it down and sold/traded off some of the parts.

I have stripped it down and sold/traded off some of the parts. Bonding the tank was some engineer's idea in the late '60s to save money in production costs. They tried it on the XL-100 series too and it didn't work.
