Picked up a nice XL 925 it has a 18" bar would like to put a bigger bar on. I live in Ohio so I will be cutting hardwood there is some 28" and 32" on ebay. What would you guys suggest? THANKS

A 925 can handle a 32incher fine, but with the right power. check engine over (compression, leaks, rings, etc) first. If the saw is worn or underpowered the saw will turn that long chain but under load it will bog down. if everything look kosher that 32incher will be sweet.

I have several 25" new orignal Homelite hard nose bars for 925-410-360-450-550 saws Also have 2 SP sprocket nose 3/8 pitch for the same saws. chainsawlady
