Just got an old XL-101 at auction and am wondering how much oil to ad to the gas. Would like to see if I can get it going. Any help would be very much appreciated

32-1 ratio. thats 4oz of oil to one gallon of gas.

Any help would be very much appreciated Just make sure you use a 2-cycle oil that is rated for air cooled engines. I don't use TCW (two cycle water) oils except in outboards. Chainsaws run a lot hotter than a water cooled outboard. |
