MY 150 chain bar seems ok. the chain groove isn't too worn. but the bar has some rust. and the bar tip sprocket thingy is tight moving. I want to make it like new. any suggestions?

If the nose sprocket isn't loose, worn bearing or sprocket, then I'd spray it with WD 40 or something similar and free it up. Once you get it cleaned up you will need to grease it with a needle tip greaser. Sugar Creek Supply has stencil kits. Scroll down on the home page.

what about the surface rust. sand paper? Paper or wire wheel. Sand or wheel only in the long direction of the bar and don't make it mirror smooth.

Naval jelly works well for removing surface rust.
