There are two dimensions that come into play. Chain pitch has to match between the clutch sprocket or rim, the bar sprocket, and the chain. Drive link thickness has to match between the chain and bar groove. Your SEZ should have 3/8 pitch chain and .050" drive links. It is always possible that someone in the past converted the saw to something else but not too likely.

I am the original ower so the only thing that has changed is the bar and chain being replaced at sme point I am wondering if I should replace the sprocket? and could you recomend a bar and chain? I was looking at an Oregon 16" bar and chain combo. Thanks for the reply

One more thing I didn't mention - chain length. The standard configuration for a SEZ with a 16" Homelite bar is 59 drive links of 3/8 pitch. Different brands of saws may use the same bar mount pattern but because of the saw design, the number of required drive links may be different. The bar that is used on the SEZ also fits some Johnsred saws but I'm not sure if the drive link count is the same. If the combo pack lists the SEZ then you should be OK with it.
