Hi, I've been trying to find out some info on this Heater with no luck. This is a Homelite Model Number HD-125-F Portable Space Heater Serial number is 22457307 I would REALLY like to know how old this thing is.... Also was this built by Homelite? or for them by someone else? I bought it at a swap meet last weekend for $15.00 not working, I thought it was cool looking, and really heavy duty. I took the pump apart this morning and cleaned things up with some emery cloth, the old girl runs like million bucks Quiet and lots of heat. Thanks for any info You folks might have. Greg Some Pics......

By any chance did you buy that at Boonville IN. If so, I seen that there and thought about bidding on it, but I left early because I didn't want to stand in line for 3 hours to pay my bill!!!! 15 bucks you got a great deal and a nice heater. Glad you got it going

Homelite had a whole line of equipment from generators to water pumps and other things. This heater was manufactured by Homelite but with "off the shelf" parts. It has an 8 digit serial so I wonder if it decodes the same as chainsaws - the first digit being a 2 would say it was built in 1972.
