Hello,
Here is my 1st post.
I bought an NOS fuel line that goes in the tank. The line has a tapered portion the needs to compress into a 5/16" hole in the side of the tank.
I tried oil, WD-40 and some hot water to help it slide in. I have a # zero flat blade that I bent at a right angle to try and help it seat. Nothing seems to be working, any idea's I can try?
Thank you in advance, Don I'll get the list of other 4 or 5 Homelites and add them to my Sig soon.

This may not be what you want to do with an NOS line, but with generic line another trick is to cut the end at an angle, like 45deg to help it to feed into the hole better..
