Does 20.00 and 25.00 for used 20'' bar, seem kinda high or is that a pretty fair price?
25.00 for a used Perma-Hard 20.00 for a laminated spocket tip

The price can be spit between collector value and usable condition. If you are looking for a bar to put on a working saw then you have to weigh the used condition against the price of a new bar. If you are looking for a show piece then you will pay more for obsolete bars than for a new one. A nice 20" Perma Hard with good lettering could easily be worth the $25 Be careful of used sprocket tipped bars. Finding a replacement tip for a Homelite Power Tip is nearly impossible. Those sprockets do wear.

I needed (want) a 23" bar and 1/2 inch chain for a gear drive I am playing with.
the chain was $35 the rusty but new bar was $20. I am going to cut with this saw and bar.
He had a primo No rust new homelite bar in 27" for $120 he still has that one.
I will shop around and find a show bar.
hope this helps.

I got one in "like new" condition, Homelite Logo and all; for $20 bucks..hard nose. For 1020 (C & Xp's) I will stick it on a gear drive for show..so 20-30 bucks is a good range. Depends on how much you need one.
