Sorry, posted this in the wrong place last time! A quick question: what is the value of a used but good condition 130 VI? I actually have the opportunity to get three Homelites for $150CDN (all roughly the same horsepower, about 50cc, from what I understand) all in working order, though well used. Two of them have 20" bars. It sounds like a steal to me...but I'm no expert (obviously!) They're the three on the left, in case anyone was wondering!

$50 apiece does not sound out of line for running saws. But, I would offer $100 and tell the guy he can keep the 'Mini-Mac' IMO, sometimes multiple saws are worth less together than the same saw singularly (maybe I'm the only one that looks at things like that?) CSW

The Mini-Mac is not actually included in the $150 anyway, it is the three on the left only. I just thought that at $50 each for ~50cc of saw, that was not a bad price.

You can always make one real nice one out of the 3 and recoup most of your money by cleaning up the other two and selling them.

See, part of the reason that I don't mind having a few extra is that I have seven sons and could use some extra saws to help take down firewood for the winter.

I used to have an XL-76, that I bought at an auction sale for $125.00, in 1984. It was in decent shape. I put a new bar on it, and bought some extra chains for it, and went and cut fire wood for farmers. I sold it to a guy for $100.00 in 1998. In inherited my Dad's three McCulloch chain saws, and I didn't need it anymore. I had a lot of fire wood cut with it, over the years that I owned it. If you got the three of them for $150.00, and if they are running, you got a good deal. Bruce.
