It does fine with fuel but it doesn't handle heat well at all. For instance, I've used it for vacuum line on a 360 saw and it didn't work, it got very soft and swelled.
But I haven't had any trouble with it in actual fuel line applications.

Thanks for the info. I'd be using it as fuel line ,and possibly the auto oiler pickup hose on a 1976 model Super XLAO. After reading all the "fuel line" threads here ,it seems there is no perfect fuel line. However the Rotary line may be as close as any as far as longevity and fit goes. What kills me is that the saw has what appears to be the original line on it ,and after 48 years it's still hanging in there although getting VERY soft in the tank even after years of ethanol gas and my not doing anything to properly store the saw. OOPS! I got the saw in the mid 80's and it cut a lot of firewood for years back then when I was heating with wood only for years ,yet I could always depend on it to always start and do it's job the following year(s) ,even with my neglect.
