So I had a chance to run the scrap bin 650, the auto oiler wasn't working so I went through it, replaced the line & pickup screens, still not oiling, I removed the oiler and found the bottom to be caked in crud ( 1st pic) I cleaned it up and re installed, it's now oiling but doesn't seems like a lot for saw this size, at full throttle it just slowly pours down the bar plate directly under the oil port, I reinstalled in the same orientation as when I removed it with the circle rivet on the front at the 11 o'clock position, I looked at my 750 and the other 650's and each one is placed in a different spot, so my question is, is there a certain position that the oiler should be placed? Should the oiler port be installed to line up with the oil port in the case?

650/750 Oiler-Rate: 17.5cc/min @ 7000 rpm
Cam Guide Pin should be in the 12:00 O'clock position. Last photo of the front shows correct orientation.
Suggest disassembly of the oiler, if not already done. Clean and inspect. The oiler should turn smoothly and easily. Low output may be caused by excessive clearance between plunger and pump body.
Added info: Refer to Fig. HL276, page B51 of the Service Manual 5th Edition, for a cross section of the Oil Pump.
