Wico X7536 (Homelite 7-29 ignition) & setting the air gap

I have been trying to diagnose my second Wico X7536 ignition coil, but the air gap between the flywheel and the ignition coil is not correct, on my second not-assembled Homelite 7-29 with the different motor.

So, I was wondering what I can do to set the air gap so they don't touch each other. If I can get them to stay with the correct air gap, I should be able to diagnose the ignition coil that I think is dead, but I'm not sure. A new one was quite expesive (found one for $850! ).

I got these readings from my multimeter from checking the different parts of the ignition coil.

I'm also trying to check this ignition coil for spark, by using an impact wrench on the clutch side to turn the crankshaft over, but I won't do it until I've made sure the rotor doesn't touch the core of the ignition coil. That's what I'm having problem with right now, the air gap of the rotor.

Checked the second coil on my working 7-29, that one works as well (the one in the pictures). Problem solved!
