Has anyone ever tried to use a light weight oil to prime the pump and then switch to bar oil after it primes? After reading a lot of posts this is what I came up with..

On my 330's i had to run them for several minutes, revving the engine and they started oiling fine, maybe try that approach

SUCCESS Put saw back together and filled with 10w40. Turned on stop watch. 2min 30 sec I had oil flow. Dumped oil and filled with bar oil. 330 number 3 cuts good.
