That'll be a delightful project. Might wanna spray some lube around that swiveling throttle handle and let it soak for a while. Mine was pretty well stuck!

My throttle button was also stuck! Funny how these saws age the same way LOL. I just hope your oil cap isn't seized like mine was. I had to make a new throttle link for mine too. It was easy enough just to use a piece of old coat hanger, but it was a fun little experiment and I gotta think it's better than what was originally on there. I also found all kinds of rubber powder under the belt cover though the belt had been replaced. The belt cover gasket was also deformed so I just added some Permatex goop in there as a replacement, though I may consider cutting a new one when I get some free time.

Getting spark is the next thing I should tackle. The throttle and the swivel both work fine. The oiler works and it seems to have decent compression. Someday...
