Can someone help identify this old Oregon chain? I’m trying to figure out the proper file size. The 7/32 seems a bit too small I believe!

I will pull the chain off the bar to look closer but I don’t think that there is a code on the drive link. Maybe it’s simply hard to see though. The thread from Mark Price a few years ago leads me to think I would need to use a 9/32 file on this chain. Not sure if they are available anymore though!! Possibly a hardware store but if I’m lucky but I’m not holding my breath. I’ll report back once I pull the chain to get a better look. houseofhomelite.proboards.com/thread/9506/file-size-chart-chain-sizes

Looks like a 10 on the drive link.

OREGON: 10AC .. .500" pitch x .063" gauge. amazon.ca has a nice single Nicholson .250" round file.

Just curious as to what model saw that came off? This is on a 5-30N. I’m amazed that it cleaned up this good! It was crusted with thick rust and fused to the bar. I had to pry it off. Wish I took a picture of before and after. I threw it in a container full of bar oil and transmission fluid about two years ago and basically forgot about it. When I pulled it out a couple weeks ago a few drive links were workable. I just kept soaking it fluid and working the links.
