Here is some unusual chain, I believe it is ice chain, looks like scratcher chain, but has no rakers.

Greg,it seems to me that the "ice chain" was mentioned here once before about 5 or 6 yrs.ago.It was most likely made for the ice fishermen as the ice houses of the last century died out with the advent of refrigeration & freezers.And we all know that the Oregon chain company wasn't around back then.

That chain and especially the box/label must be rare these days.. It has the original Oregon logo from when the company was founded in 1947. Nice find !

Wish I'd known about ice chain when I was in the shop. Farmers used to absolutely WRECK regular saw chain cutting ice from ponds to water their livestock.
That is unusual and a nice find in good condition. Where did you find it?
