Did a bit of searching but couldn't find a good answer. What Homelite model would be the ideal limbing saw? Thanks!

I would have to say the super 2. Top handle saw with 2 throttle triggers.

Super 2 is probably my choice as well. That was my first saw from the early 80's and I still have it.
There were later XL's that had the longer rear handle like the Super 2 but only the rear trigger.
For a little more saw but still lightweight and versatile, Super EZ's are good too and powerful to do some real work when you decide to go ahead and make some bigger cuts. They're plenty of saw up to 12" logs.
Then there's the 150 following. I never like them much but they are powerful and handy. Some folks love them.

Me as well...metal housing twin trigger Super 2 with a 16" bar. Not that I want to cut to 16" with the saw, but the extra reach is nice when limbing.
