I have a ported C51 that pulls a 24 with authority, or at least it did. A guy at church gave me the saw to get it out of his basement. After a serious cleaning and a carb kit I had the saw starting easily and running like a beast. During the second build it sucked the "carb mount filler block" into the motor and chewed it up. Ran like a beast even without it. Being a perfectionist and this thing now being my pet project I decided to replace it and this is where the problems begin. Leons had one and the service was excellent but after going back together again the damn thing wont start. Another carb kit. Still nothing. Itll pop on starting fluid but wont run. Ive explored ever option I can think of and no dice. Any ideas before I turn this thing into a boat anchor? Did a pressure test on the carb and its leaking through the barrel of the carb. Good fire, new plug. Exhaust open. Its not pulling gas to the carb without starting fluid to prime.

Are the pulse ports blocked? Gasket on backwards?
