Had the chance to use my 330#1 this past week for 4 days, cutting up a soft maple in my back yard.Big tree for me to cut, bigger than my 20" bar, plus had to carry the wood out by hand,(lots of extra cuts) to my truck. The saw ran great, ran strong.Oiler worked flawlessly used almost a full tank of oil to full tank of gas. After 4 days the saw is in better shape than I am, sore all over, but it was fun.Cold and rainy today, good time to take it apart and clean it.

A good running 330 ain't no slouch. I had one years ago when Dad and I cut wood with a good friend of his, John. John had a 452 Echo until we cut in some ash logs one day that was taking up our 16" bars. The 330 was falling through the bottom of the log when the Echo wasn't even half way through. The very next weekend John showed up with a shiny new 550EVL. We were still out-cutting him! We were running an 8 tooth drive rim and on soft wood, that 330 would fly.
Glad you had a good day out with yours. Your "wounds" will heal!

Thanks Billy, it was a good time, and Motrin helped.

The 330 is nice saw to own and run. My first one was a basket case and free. Once it was reassembled and running, I purchased a semi skip chisel, a 16" PT bar. Went to the woods to cull junk trees, made easy work for the day. They start easy and run strong, and are not that hard to work on.

I bought one for my collection about a year and a half ago. I took it to a get together in early December to see what it would do. Holy cow! I was very impressed with the power.
